Day Two of the 70-Mile Challenge - Gold!

National Arboretum Trails - 2.5 Miles - Loop (4.5/70)

The capital's National Arboretum has lots of space and variations for beautiful walks. Today, we walked 2.5 miles along the eastern edge through the azalea garden and up to Mt. Hamilton. Concluding the loop took us through the State Tree garden - super nerdy cool - the Fern Valley and through the Capitol Columns. I'll need to do this regularly - especially in Spring - as it is sure to look different at every turn. Today's color was gold - crisp golden color shown in this shed lock.
